We are checking in!!!!!

The MTC has been an amazing experience. We have managed thus far to be completely out of our comfort zone, still waiting for the desire for cold cereal, and still trying to figure each other out in our new environment. Dad doesn't let me out of his sight and I have to remind him it is a little different as a couple...It is time for me to hit the beauty parlor. There are some major problems with the Visas for Argentina. There are several couples here that have been waiting for weeks. We have an appointment with the consulate on Wed and will know more about our visas then. Right now however it does look like we will leave on the 23rd and arrive on the 24th of this month. No flights yet...we are just told these are the plans. We are involved in Seminary and Institute training for the next 3 days and then more Purpetual Education training on Thurs and Friday.

Shawn...you will be happy to know my suitcase plans have changed. We met a couple here that left for Africa with only 3 suitcases all under 50 lbs, no food, theyknow what airport they are landing in but they have no idea what they will be doing. They do know someone will pick them up at an airport but that is it.. I felt guilty when I told her we were taking peanut butter and cocoa.

Life is good and we are so ready to get into Paraguay. The Lord blesses us each day with increased enthusiasm and love for the people. The language is slowly coming and will only get better once we enter the countries.

Saturday Dad and I attended the Provo temple. What an awsome experience. The diversity is incredible and watching the "junior missionaries" reminded us of how important the work we will be involved in is.
